Best of 11 ???

We have just seen on the German Website ( WDF/BDO ) that the german organisation have decided that the top 4 from the german rankings, men and women will automatically go straight into the last 8 of this years german open where they will play against 4 men and 4 women who make it through the normal tournament. This means that the players who travel from all the other countries have less chance of acquiring wdf and bdo ranking points.
Last year in the last 8 by the men were NO germans and by the women..... NO germans, all the last 8 played their way fairly through the tournament to get their ranking points. This year only four stand a chance to get the same points.
