Francisco Ruiz, started playing darts in 1988, playing steel tip first than switching to soft tip because of lack of tournaments. He won this year individual 501 in Las Vegas, master category in soft tip. Good soft tip and steel tip player, clinical to doubles, being organizator of this event in Spain i watched his games, any darts he had to double he got them. Hope he will do the same on the big stage in Ally Pally and pass the preliminary round. He is National Champion in different Spanish Soft Tip Federations here. Julio Barbero also won his entry fee for German Darts Championship in Halle, he still has chance to get to Ally Pally with a good run over there.
