I have a very old Lowen, model FM230WOCK. It is working fine but recently, while playing cricket, the result display has started showing problems. Far left or far right parts of diplay are turning on and off. Also the wrong player numbers are turning on. This change (loop but not always) only happens when there are some changes on the display values (throw number, result etc.). I have tried cleaning contacts on the 16 pin cable going to the display but it didn't help. I've tried contact spray on both sides of the cable, nothing. I have attached the photos.

Normal, all fine:
Right side 16/15/bull don't work, players 2 and 4 light up (should be only player 3)
Left side 20/19/18/17 and right side 16/15/bull don't work, players 2 and 4 light up (should be only player 3)
